Technical Surveillance Countermeasures

During a technical surveillance countermeasure inspection, premises and equipment are searched both physically and with technical equipment. This is commonly known as a "sweep" after eavesdropping equipment or "bugs". The purpose is to detect and handle illegal eavesdropping and industrial espionage.

A technical surveillance countermeasure inspection mainly consists of five parts

• Sweeping of the area with spectrum analyzer and other technical equipment
• Manual examination with non-linear junction detector, looking for active, passive and switched off listening devices
• Manual examination with thermal imaging camera and embedded listening devices
• Physical and visual inspection
• Directed search with and without sound

Upon completion of the project, a report is always submitted with our remarks and suggestions for improvement measures.
